Accessing knowledge through porosity often requires pauses or spaces-in-between. This access is supported by the practice of quieting the mind, being open, and resisting (re)inscription of dominant discourses that suggest communication and co-creation of meaning with animate Earth is not possible.

Much of the structure of the hypertext is designed to create those pause spaces. Much of the content is to provide access to discourses which help resist (re)inscription of the intellect as the privileged place of knowing and to support ways of coming to know through porosity.
