If experience and meaning is mediated through discourse and power, how are the categories of nature and culture produced and maintained? How do different forms of representation support maintain this separation? What kinds of research and reading practices enable interrogation and subsequent healing of the socially constructed nature/culture split?  What kinds of pedagogical activities enable that disruption? Are they possible within the dominant discourse of anthropocentrism? As I continue to sit in front of the computer? As I deny that my body has wisdom? What might I come to know if I listened to that wisdom? Or if readers are given frequent opportunities to read dialogically?
